OJ that I've had for at least a month and probably more. Expiry isn't until mid-December.

I do keep the fridge hovering just above freezing, but it's an old fridge and that means it can get slightly over 40 degrees. I wonder if it might even be shelf stable. Nah, additional overhead for transpo and reefer trucks means probably not.

Everything I buy these days seems to have a pretty long expiry though. Excepting raw organics like fruit.

edit: if you have a problem with things spoiling quickly, definitely spring for a set fridge thermometers - one for freezer and one for the rest. I'm sure most of you have much newer fridges. The age of mine is measured in decades. So you're likely able to set a specific temp and there probably isn't a terrible amount variance around that number.

I almost made a grave mistake at aldi today. I picked up some flavored hot chocolate for work. I was standing in line, and realized they were those stupid plastic cups. I left the line and put them back. I actually have a machine for those. My mother said it didn't work, bought another, and I took that cause it works for me. Kcups are wasteful and expensive. I'd rather drink piss than lower myself by using a kcup.
