Hey Gorb - you ever order from HopDrop? Not even sure if they are serving your DFW area yet though.

My first order is set to come in tomorrow.... hopefully....

For such a shitty website I kinda was a bit hesitant to give them over $200 for an order for me lol

I haven’t. The only online beer shop I’ve ever used was inside the cellar and that was years ago. I think they closed down shortly afterwards lol. I’ll check out hopdrop but doubt I’ll order anything (if they even ship to TX) since I already buy too much beer locally 😬

Hopdrop is local in certain TX cities - I know they are here in Houston, and I believe they also do Dallas. Anyhow, first step is putting in the zip-code.

Saw this today and felt it was worthy of a share since I laughed so hard:

Heres my first batch from HopDrop that they dropped off today. Definitely not a bad haul.

They basically specialize in grabbing the local breweries and bringing them to your door - instead of you having to do shit like lining up four an hour at breweries like Spindletap just to get a 4-pack... Fuck that, just have them bring it to your door.

Last night was modified Negronis. Subbed out part of the Campari for Amaro Nonino. Resulted in a sweeter more complex cocktail with a more subdued note of the typical Negroni bite. Very smooth though and drinks dangerously quickly.

Margaritas tonight. Milagro Silver, Grand Mariner, lime. Shaken. Served on the rocks. No salt.

Martin House makes a lot wacky stuff. People seem to love it but a lot of it isn’t for me lol.

Hurricanes. Plantation OFTD. Plantation 5 year. Lemon juice. Local passion fruit syrup. Grenadine. Served over crushed ice.

Had a glass of blood orange hard cider with my lunch at the Leaky Roof.
(it's a local pub in my neighborhood).

(Not sure what brand it is,as they rotate their selection of hard ciders.)
