What are you drinking tonight?

I had to go to the liquor store this morning to get some stuff for my daughter to make Thanksgiving dinner, and got a couple things for myself. I'm currently enjoying some Ardbeg 10yr in a nifty little tasting glass that came with it, and later I'll have some Klapøjster Mjød. The bottle was attractive, and I'm thinking about giving some as a gift, but wanted to trial it first.

Update:
The Klapøjster Mjød is pretty damned good. I've never had mead that I can remember, so I can't compare it to anything, but I dig the taste. I think it'll make a fine gift. A little spendy at $32, but it'll make a nice winter treat.

Stone enjoy by 12/26/14 and ballast point grapefruit sculpin ipa tonight

Now going with a 2013 Jolly Rodgers ale...honestly doesn't seemed to have aged well- could have saved a buck for the 6 pack and bought this years ale. Not only is it pretty flat, but there's an off taste to it.

I've been on a bit of a cocktail kick lately, so tonight I thought I'd mix things up and go with a nice craft beer.

Stone Lukcy Basartd Ale. Basically a blend of Arrogant Bastard, Double Bastard and Oaked Arrogant Bastard. It's strong, it's tasty... can't say I taste the oak coming through at all, but Arrogant Bastard and Double Bastard are two of my favorite beers and blending them makes a drink that is just wonderful. It's rich and full-bodied, with a delicious maltiness and a smoothness that belies its strength. Two big swigs will make you pretty calm. A couple more will knock you right out. Great stuff.

Vodka and Sprite for a change, go figure.

If you ever make it to Portland Oregon, let me know and I'll make you a real cocktail, on the house. Every time you post it makes me sad that you're resorting to drinking garbage when there's so much wonder to be found in the world of booze.

Every time I get wasted, I am repulsed by alcohol for weeks at a time... I'm into week 2 or 3 now and still repulsed. Dry for now.

Figured since I like krakens so much, I'd try out some Kraken spiced rum with a little coke zero. Not too bad, I might say. Not amazing, but tasty enough for a couple tonight.

Had a pint of Kona Longboard lager, and a shorty(it's 12 oz,I think) of hard cider over at the Yard House in downtown Portland,OR along with my lunch.

The best micro we have in the province: Le Trou du Diable.

They use fresh hops instead of dried hops which give their beers an super distinctive and unique taste. I love all of them.

Ugh, had the longest, most painful week. I think I am going to get some booze and try to finish Dragon Age: Origins tonight.

What do you guys think, beer? Any recommendations for a good RPG booze?

I bought a beer called Dragon's Milk last weekend, and it is appropriate by name. I wasn't a huge fan, but I did love referring to drinking it as "milking the dragon".
