What are you drinking tonight?

I'm trying to think of some Halloween-ish cocktails that aren't just good-looking garbage. All the recipes online are shit like "cherry vodka, pop rocks and strawberry soda" which sounds like something an 8-year-old would invent, or they take a perfectly normal recipe and dump in a shitload of merlot because "it looks like blood, and who gives a fuck how it tastes". I'm thinking a Boulevardier for the blood-red color (but still being a drinkable drink), and maybe something tequila-based for Dia de los Muertos (which is technically tomorrow, but whatever).

evidently that whiskey thread is dangerous.

Dangerously delicious.

I wanted to try the one you mentioned (and pictured above here) but the store I went to didn't have it. I've got a few from the thread I have listed for future purchases...

I want to go have a couple of the black ales at this local burger joint, but I have been going every Friday for the past few weeks and now I think one of the waitresses thinks I am creeping on her. I'm not, I just like the beers, burgers, and relaxing atmosphere in there after a long work week. :\

Maybe I'll just get takeout and have some Blanton's at home.

Tonight I shall be celebrating Halloween by drinking the traditional beverage: the blood of my enemies. And maybe some Fresca as a chaser.

It's okay alone, but it's better for getting the metallic taste of the blood of your enemies out of your mouth.

i like pickled red onions for that purpose. or alternatively, "blood of my enemies porridge"
