Going to have some Cycles Gladiator 2010 Syrah when I get home. Very good for the price.

The 18 absolutely rocks. I seem to like the older releases more than the newer though (round bottle). I'm really sad the price has taken a jump up.

Saw a bottle of the 18 year for $89.99 in Colorado 2 years ago. Still kicking myself for not buying it.

Vodka UV cherry 30%,mixed with coke aka cherry bomb.

Almost went for a 6 pack of Becks Sapphire beer which would have been my first choice at $9 a 6 pack but decided not to get that cheap, the vodka and coke goes a long way for the $12 i spent.

Yes i am a cheap drinker.

Buffalo Trace bourbon and some Oaked Arrogant Bastard. I figure they should pair nicely given the oakiness across the board. And I'm also eating a handful of wood chips just to tie everything together.

I have heard tons of recommendations for Buffalo Trace, and finally decided to pick up a bottle. Have to say I am not disappointed with the taste!

Buffalo trace is a very good bourbon, especially in its bracket. Up there with basil hayden, Corner creek and woodford.

Have to say I really enjoyed it. It is a bit more expensive here though at $40 per bottle. Still I would have no problem recommending it, and it's far cheaper than my average bottle of scotch.

Just picked up a bottle of Highland Park 12

Great whisky, have both the 12 year and 15 year at home. Also probably the best distillery tour I went on when I was living in Scotland. One of the last places that still malts their own barley. If you get the chance to make it up to Orkney I highly recommend it (not just the distillery but the Orkney islands especially Mainland and Hoy).

rhum barbancourt + caff free coke

before that, frexinet champagne + reyka vodka & OJ
I hate Rum Bharbancourt, it has such an off flavor. It's well regarded too...first time I bought a bottle I was very, very disappointed.

Ron Abuelo is much better and one of the best rums I've had.

I love Kracken. Just discovered it recently. So tasty especially mixed with pineapple juice. For some reason it's also cheaper that your average bottle of spiced rum.

Kraken in general is excellent. One of my favorite drinks was introduced to me by a bartender at a local pool hall; Kraken and Coke. It's just a rum and Coke with Kraken spiced rum, but it's damn tasty. I like to add a twist of lime for a little citrus kick. It's much better than Captain Morgan and Coke, which is so cloyingly sweet it makes my eyes water.

So I finished off all my kiddie beer that I bought to make chili last night

and only have adult beer left

It's all good though. Man, that stone IPA sure gives me a buzz fast.

I might have a JW black on giant ice cubes tonight.
