Had a small dram of Glenfiddich 12. I have over 90 whiskys between my closet and bar with a good lot of them being quite old and very nice yet I keep coming back to the Glenfiddich 12. Thats not to say it tastes better than the nicer/older bourbons and scotchs I keep on hand but it just has a nice, consistent character that I really enjoy. And it's cheap to boot!

I got a gift card to the liquor store and I'd really like to get a nice scotch or bourbon. Any suggestions?

I tried that out this New Years.
Bottle looked awesome, and when i saw bacon, i was intrigued.
Everyone i was with for New Years was not a fan, and neither was i.
It tasted exactly as advertised, but the end result just isn't great IMHO. :whiste:

Totally agree; kind of disappointing. :\

Not drinking tonight but I do have a bottle of Brooklyn Black Ops that I'll be drinking soon. ;)

Horseradish Sour - London Dry Gin, Lemon, Horseradish, Honey, Egg White, Black Pepper

and a

Bardstown Breakfast - Bacon-Infused Bourbon, Mezcal, Aromatic Bitters, Maple Syrup

Over dinner. The second was better, was similar to a Boulevardier.
