Enjoying the new vape a bit too much perhaps ?? ;)
Actually it has not as yet touched my lips. I charged the battery and it's sitting next to me, unused. This finger injury is a bitch. I had an MRI about a month ago and then my doctor proposed surgery. Talking to him I asked if a 2nd opinion might help and he said it's always a good idea. His colleague disagreed and maintains that surgery for this condition is very difficult and usually has unsatisfactory results. They conferred and I'm back to a therapy regimen. I mentioned to my therapist today when she asked what I do for pain that I've got naproxen and Tylenol but rarely touch pharmaceuticals, but I'm thinking of smoking MJ. She said that might be a good idea!

It's hard for me to find a rye that I like, even though I love the thought of a peppery, spicy whiskey.

I bought a mixed 12 pack from lift bridge brewery, stupidly thinking it was a local brewery since Duluth has a lift bridge, but instead its from stillwater...anyways.
I tried the Mango Blonde. It was just not very good. Like no real flavor, just a bit of bitterness and a slight fruity aftertaste. Not pleasant. Good thing I only have 3 more.

TBH my reaction to a brew has more to do with my state than the quality of the brew a lot of the time.

Oh, I will. I'm in turmoil, nothing new. For one, my BD is in a week, I've bought a number of things lately, lots of new stuff. There's the finger injury, I have my weekly 3 hour radio show (this afternoon).

Stop with the excuses and dedicate 5 minutes to making sure it works. (right now would be a good time to put it on the charger for this evening)

Baby, it's charged. It was fully charged a week ago, I'm sure it's 98% charged now. Maybe I'll hit it when I get home tonight after my show.

I haven't set it up yet in the app though. I wanted to do that rather than using the buttons, at least 1st use.

As a huge fan of Belgium beers I've always been a little sad at how expensive they are in the US. I wanted to buy all of these...

Settled on these 3 for after the bar. Maredsous was the best of the 3

It's a good thing I've got a preference for German lagers. I don't mind an occasional Belgian, though. I wish they were that price here.

Hope they weren't skunked! I love Trappist Ale! :)
I like skunked beer. I miss Hofbräu in the green bottle.

Red Horse - a rather strong local Filipino beer at 6.9% alcohol, very nice

San Miguel Pilsener - light, refreshing beer , perfect for the heat

I liked skunked Corona in the specific context of eating at a Mexican restaurant. The flavor seems to go particularly well with cilantro. I've had literally one Corona in my life that wasn't skunked, and it was a disappointment :^D Skunked German beers are nostalgic from when I was young. German beer was about the only "premium" option, and it was always skunked.

I've been tearing through seltzer water this year. I used to drink it mainly as a treat, but it's about all I've been drinking lately. Bought a 12pack of beer memorial day weekend, and I still have six left.

I got sucked into the IPA thing after many years of mostly red and brown ales and porters. A triple might be a bit too much for me, although I do enjoy something like Sierra Nevada Torpedo. That does look old-school but maybe a little light on malt, I'll try it if I can find it in Boise next time I'm there.
