The Confusion by Neil Stephenson.
I haven't read this Stephenson book, what do you think of it?

It is good stuff but that book is part 2 of a trilogy, The Baroque Cycle. Start with Quicksilver.

But very very good. If you have read Cryponomicon, and how he writes about older era's... same thing but no jumping to the present and it takes place in the 1800's (? not sure on this, been a while).
But very good, quasi-historical, and geeky at the same time.

Reading ---> A Fire Upon the Deep by Vernor Vinge.

Just finished ---> Holy Fire by Bruce Sterling

Next up ---> Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco

the Baroque cycle books didn't sound all that interesting to me.

Terry Pratchett - The Last Continent (Book #22)

I love his stuff 🙂

yep, i can't get enough of Discworld. I've read every single Discworld book plus some extras.

Sahara by Clive Cussler; One of my favorite books, we just finished reading it last night. Yeah, there are cheesy lines and the main character has more lives than a cat, but you have to love the action in the book.

I just started reading The Tommyknockers by Stephen King.
