like, the metal or wooden studs in adjustable bookcases that the shelves sit on. they pop into holes on the sides of the bookcase.

there's a proper name for them, right?

somehow, they all went missing from 5 of my bookcases during my move today :\ not sure if the movers took them out and misplaced them or if they fell out and no one noticed. I, for one, didn't notice until almost 12 hours after the movers left. I'd like to buy replacements rather than all new bookcases, but I have no idea wtf I should be looking for in home depot.

pegs? you can find them at home depot, they have a rack of odds n' ends in the hardware aisle and they have tons of different kinds

EDIT: I really do think it's called something like Odds n' Ends or "Random Hardware", but there is a huge stack of it right where you find cabinet hardware
