What are those long shorts called ?

Hi guys,
there are regular shorts that end at or slightly above the knee. And there is another type that is much longer and it ends below the knee, at mid calf, iirc.
What is the name for that type of shorts ?

Chunky-legged women wear them because normal shorts get bunched up in between their thighs of doom and they have to stop every 15 seconds and pull them out of their crotch.

Now, I'm not one to demean people on their size if they aren't disgusting and let themselves go... but chubby people shouldn't be wearing shorts for this reason. I mean, it's not like pulling them out of your ass every 15 seconds can be comfortable. Find some longer, looser shorts FGS.

I have shorts that go below the knee, but they are not tight like capris. I have a bad scar on my right knee, but I wear long shorts because I like them.
