The hooks holding up the curtains in my son's room broke. It's the simple rectangular cross-section rod with the while plastic brackets. For the life of me I can't find it online. I'm thinking it's got a name that I just haven't figured out.

Stop looking online. Go down to your local home improvement/hardware store and find what you need. Then, if you're addicted to waiting for the internet to deliver, order them online. This is the kind of scenario where the internet search engines fail miserably as none of the manufacturers call them the same thing.

You guys know the telescoping metal curtain "rods" with rectangular cross section?
No, "rectangular cross-section" isn't very descriptive, to me, anyway. A pic of the rod and/or existing hooks would help a lot...
