well, sony is the company that makes SecuROM and that audio CD DRM which they push really hard on their SonyBGM subsidiary (a RIAA company)
So yes, probably. I ain't touching a sony or apple device with a 10 foot pole.

The SOC in the S3 pretty much dominates Tegra 3 in the international OneX. The US version of the S3 will have S4 and Samsung has MUCH better optimized software than HTC so it's still going to be faster. The only thing up in the air is the GPU that the US S3 will use.

There are new phones coming from LG and moto, I'm not sure how well the LG phone will do as their software updates usually lag behind the rest.

I dont think thats really up in the air. Samsung is buying the SOC from Qualcomm and TSMC is fabbing it so they dont really have the option of picking their own GPU. Its most likely going to be the Adreno 225 like all the S4s

The S4 Pro with 320 GPU wont be ready by next month, Qualcomm already has supply constraints with the current S4 so outside of a miracle, the S4 Pro wont be out until Q4 earliest

When you go sprouting off about the One X is only fit to be compared to the SGS2 then yeah, you come off as biased since no one else has that opinion.

Biased doesn't mean "differs on opinion from majority".
Looking at exact numbers from professional third party reviews is an unbiased as you can get, even if its not the majority.

Super AMOLED HD Plus is not in the GS3. Where are you getting your information from? If you are so bias towards Samsung why don't you just get the GS3 and ask the moderators to close the thread? Face it the screen in the One X is better than the one in the GS3 and that is what you'll be looking at 80-90% of the time when you're using the phone...
 
At this point with the hardware...I dont really care about performance, benchmarks.

All of these current and upcoming phones destroy my Droid 1...lol.

Battery life is what I wanna know. And so far...I think the Tegra 3 is still king there? Dont really know yet, havent been keeping up with other quad cores that much.

I agree Quadrant is completely useless. Maybe for out the box scores.....but since it can be manipulated so easy...its useless for anything meaningful. Maybe gpu benchmarks.

Since I used to be a big fan of LCD screens...until I actually saw an Amoled one...lol...I will leave the screen debate for yall. IF.....IF the screen on the One X is an improvement over older LCD screens as far as colors, blacks, contrasts, viewing angles....I will be sticking with Amoled for the foreseeable future. For now I still believe the display is gonna be preference.

Cuz many ppl raved/rave over the Rezound screen....and I dont see it. Compared to my RAZR. And I have both phones. Yea...thats the "inferior" RAZR screen many ppl hate on.

Currently I am most likely to get a Galaxy Nexus for the vanilla Android experience at a much lower price then latest gen phones like the SGS3. Just waiting for the SGS3 and others to actually arrive and drop prices further so I can get a good deal on a used one. Although, I am having second thoughts about it due to lack of gorilla glass.
However this thread is not me asking for what phone I should get, its me asking what the next gen phones ARE.

But they're still worse than "Shamesung" regarding delivering Android updates.

Still not good enough in my opinion.
For me now, it's Nexus or bust. None of the other crap about manufacturers taking 9 months to a year to release updates for their phones or carriers blocking those updates.
If it's not a "Nexus" device, ASUS, Samsung, or HTC phone(Yes, in that order), forget about Android updates.

Tegra phones have never been king in the battery life department.

Galaxy Nexus is an old phone.
Either wait for the next "Nexus" device, or get a Samsung Galaxy S III(either versions) or HTC OneX(AT&T version).

If you end up getting a Galaxy Nexus, then that means all this debate was for nothing. 😛

The point was to learn and teach. To know what is the current and future status.

The problem with getting a GSG3 or another latest release is that they tend to be overpriced. ESPECIALLY if there is a lack of solid competition like the SGS3.

A galaxy nexus IS an outdated phone which makes it far more affordable.

If the SGS3 was going to be released near a bunch of solid competitors then we could have potentially seen much more attractive prices. Then there is the whole question of what the US version of the SGS3 would be like.

I am still not 100% Decided and am waiting for the phone to be officially released in the USA to see how it changes things.

I bought my Samsung Galaxy S II the end of September(either the 26th, 27th, or 28th). I think it was around $544-$568. Won't bother trying to dig up my Amazon invoice for a $20 difference. Whatever the case, I'm glad I missed the steep drop in prices. From $900(massive price gouging) to $568(when I bought it last Sept.) to $459 today. Even at the $459 price today, it's still overpriced considering you can get a Galaxy Nexus today for $400 from Google.

If you're still undecided, then the best thing to do is to wait.
Waiting is not considered a bad option. Many times, it's even the best option available.

Cite one "professional" 3rd party review that says that the One X isn't a currently gen flagship phone and that it's more comparable to a GS2 than a GS3.

Do you know if its design, process, or both?

Kal-El uses 40 nm LPG by TSMC.
Exynos (latest versions of it) uses 32nm HKMG by Samsung.
Krait I don't know.

Krait is 28nm by TSMC.
And as for the answer to your question, I have absolutely no idea. I will leave that to the engineers.

And.....it looks like you were right. Battery life tests of the GS3 vs the One X... both quad core phones.....the GS3 seems to have the edge.
