I am trying to find the TJ MAX numbers for the E6750 & Q9550. I done alot of searches on this forum but there is so much conflicting information.

I am using realtemp 2.70 and the tjmax numbers are set to 95 for both chips which leads me to believe that they are just default settings and not the ones I should be using.

thanks

TJ Max is the max temp you should ever let a CPU get close to. Some people say it's 95c some people claim 100c. Intel didn't give a straight answer.

I ignore it. I just never let the CPU get closer than 30c under the TJ max. So if it's at 95, I wouldn't let it go over 65c.
