What are the rumored specs/features of the next gen BMW 3-series?

I seem to remember something about the base models getting the M3's engine, and something about SMG trickling down.

Its not really the next gen BMW 3 series, that doesnt come out till the 2005 model, I think. However the 2004 BMW 3xxCi and 3xxCiC which come out in ~April will have 6spds. In the fall they will have a SMG option. Or thats what I have read.

There will be two versions of the 3. One will be the normal with more engine and a second 'sport' version with much more engine, wheels, etc.

EDIT: Went back a looked at an old newsletter. Engines are 260-300 HP, Models are Sport, Luxury, M Series, more LEDs used for exterior lighting, it will have the iDrive (modified of course), priced about the same due to G35, slightly larger interior. These are all guesses.
