hell with that you shoud run it just fine at 32 bit color.

Radeon 32 MB DDR
1.4 GHZ athlon
medium details.

runs fairly fluid in 3v3 matches. well except when there isa million units on the screen, but hey it is still playable. the 64 MB card will run much smoother then my card will. Friend of our runs it on a 1 ghz duron and a radeon 64 MB DDR.
my cousin runs it on a 810 Chipset! granted it is not good for multiplayer but single player works well.

geez, that'll run FINE at 1024x768 16bit with medium/high detail, or maybe 800x600 32bit.

Hell on my system I run 1280x960 32bit with AA and anisotropic enabled! lol

Oh wow, this thread made it all the way back up to the top. :p

Well I actually couldn't hold off and bought the game with its gouging price, but heres hoping that id rops withing the next 30 days so I can pricematch.

I'm running at 1024x768 with medium details on everything, occlusion and shadows off. ANd enviromental and positional audio off. Runs completely smooth for me, and I even played a 6v6. :) Haven't really experienced a detrimental slowdown where it would hinder my ability to micromange so thats good. Usually one of the first to load on battle.net (although that probably has to do with bandwith more) also. I'll probably upgrade to an 8500 in the future, but for now good enough.

Go buy the game!

Athlon 750 (stop making fun of me! I'm trying to wait for Hammer), Geforce 3, 512 MB RAM plays very smoothly for me at 1024x768 with all effects on. I have noticed slowdown in very large fights, however (typically, timed missions in which you get swarmed within the last ten seconds).
