What were they telling us during the midterms?

inflation
border
crime

So, what are the first pieces of legislation they introduce? Abortion restrictions

Even at the state level, check out those crazy Republicans.

Draw your own conclusions why Republicans keep going against the will of the people. Virginia had a special election where abortion restrictions were on the ballot won by the Democrat. The midterms have reaffirmed a large majority want Roe v Wade rules back and it very important to voters. However, the GOP keeps doubling down against voter wishes.

Cutting Medicare/SS. The entire debt limit fight is going to be about doing something that very very few Americans want to see happen.

Republicans only have one real priority, everything else is negotiable. That priority is making sure that rich people have the most money possible.

They do culture war stuff because they think it gets them votes but the only thing they truly care about using those votes for is to give rich people money.

Tax cuts for donors.

Afterwards:
Do nothing!
Make sure nothing is done!
Don't let anyone do anything!

Cheers!

Highest immediate priority is to damage Biden's chances of getting reelected if he so chooses to. Next up, create as much chaos and confusion amongst the electorate in order to inject as much suspicion and doubt among them and exploit that mayhem by blaming the Democrats as untrustworthy perpetrators of it all.

The Repubs already have their thoroughly corrupted SCOTUS majority securely in hand. All they need now is to discredit the Democrat's efforts at championing the concerns of the middle class and the poor of the nation and turn them against the Dem party in their all out effort to gain permanent control of the federal gov't. IOW create a weird fascist/theological form of gov't that's in firm control of the plutocrat class.

Ugh, administration looking like the Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight.

At least they followed protocol. SP could wrap this up quickly.

The only way that republicans win an election is by using dirty trickery because otherwise, they would never win. They can't win legitimately, so instead they gerrymander, they voter suppress, they install judges that will rule in favor of the trickery when challenged in court, they lie about their credentials and lie about their opponents credentials, and on and on it goes.

Now that republicans own the US house, in order to get their agenda thru they must once again resort to dirty trickery and pulling stunts to get what they want because that agenda of theirs is not the agenda of the American people. The people refuse to elect them, and the people refuse their political agenda, so they must cheat in order to win.

So now in the house, instead of using gerrymandering and voter suppression the republicans must now use hostage taking and threats to get what they want. And they will use the process of raising the debit ceiling to force their agenda because once again without using their dirty trickery none of what they propose would get thru.

Republicans can't play the game fair and honest to get what they want because no one else wants their BS. So, the republicans must always screw the system, screw the people, use tactics not mentioned nor intended in the constitution to even come close to achieving their goals. Just like if you had a football game where the other side kicks their opponent in the balls in order to win the game.

House republicans will hold America hostage, shut down the government, allow the government to go into default, and will cost the taxpayers millions just to get their way. People... this is not politics, these are the acts of a traitor. The acts of desperation. BECAUSE.... for republicans to try this any other way will end in defeat.
What do you think about a political party that must use trickery on a daily basis in order to achieve their agenda or to get their candidates elected? Is this politics? Or is this something entirely alien to American democracy?

It is the nature of self haters to seek to end their suffering by self destruction. The Apocalypse is a projection of that wish and what sick Christians specifically long for. Misery loves company. The general denial of the universality of self hate prevents a recognition of the true danger we are all in. There is a race going on between awakening and mass self generated extinction.
