What are the possible side effects of slamming your head into things everyday?

I moved into my college dorm at Purdue a few weeks ago and have noticed that I've slammed my head very hard into the lofts at least once a day if not more. I have the corners wrapped in towels, but being 5'11" I still find myself walking into the bars or slamming the back of my head when I get up from my desk.

What are the risks to my health/ intelect ability if this continues?

no I'm serious, not trying to nef or anything, I've been trying very hard to keep my head low, I'm developing neck cramps due to it. But it slips my mind from time to time

Bruises. When you start seeing furbies running around your room, and your roommate starts cleaning, you know you've messed your head up.
