Infected Mushroom
Digital Witchcraft

Most remakes of Andain's "Beautiful Things" -- Paul Van Dyk "Live at Cream Amnesia" is a good set...

Some may argue that these are a subset of trance -- I'm not familiar with all the nuances between the subsets...

edit: better quality and one more

first one started out great. then the lyrics started. ok so i have some japanese trance in my collection (AvB's edit of Auy - M, Ayu - Begins, etc)..so i started feeling the lyrics a bit (even though i had no clue what the heck it was saying)...but then the whole pitch of the track changed, and the song just took a nose dive

the other two are horrendous. no other way to put it

And off the top of my head, Chicane - Dont give up (AvB remix)

also check out generationtrance.com. Dj GT and Project C really can really put some great vocal trance compilations together.

oh another
BT - Dreaming
BT - Flaming June <-- probably my favorite track of all time

Everyone who's posted Chicane should hear his DJ set "Live at Palladium", if they haven't already. I normally prefer faster music myself, but I was amazed at the entire hour+ of this. Look around for it, it's definitely worth hearing.

Riva - Time is the Healer (Armin van Buuren remix) is one of my faves.

One of my current likes is Dogzilla - Frozen.

I usually listen to hundreds of new tracks every week though, so i've given up trying to keep track of specific songs...

germantrance dot com is a great place to search for ALL types of trance music whatever your taste, you can also listen to the entire track (although they screw it up quite a bit and just remove various beats here and there so you cant just use it off the site) . The prices displayed are of course for the vinyl!

Try out Uberdruck, they make some stomping tunes, Drugface in particular its been around for a long time and has never slipped from near the top of the ratings lists. Of course if thats not your cup of tea then merely thank me for showing you the site and forget about my musical tastes ;)

Reading this post reminded me to check out my mates myspace site... he has added his own mixup of Drugface and Nobody listens to techno in the disco, its awesome!

check him out, www.myspace.com/mikesteventon, the one at the bottom is the drugface mix. "Nobody listens to drugface in the disco"

I should have hit this up earlier...Nonetheless HERE is my entry.

Cheesy video but it's hard to find the actual song... Easily best song trance ever...

If your looking for a badass cd from back in the day, check out Kimball Collins - Session One released on ICU, it's got this tune on it and about a dozen other awesome tracks. Favorite cd right next to Pascal Dolle - Generation Trance 2, that also came out on ICU.

I'm really going to date myself with this one, but it was my favorite trance song back in the day:

Libra presents Taylor - Anomaly (Calling Your Name)
