I am selling of my Powerbook G4 for an Intel Mac. Initially it was the reaction to the Macbook release.. but I think I want to wait it out in the notebook line for revisions and possible cpu upgrades. I am seriously pondering the iMac.
There is a lot of speculation that the iMacs may be able to accept a Merom processor, this would surely give me a nice upgrade path on the iMac and make it more of a justifiable purchase.
Does anyone have any insight on this? The iMac does have a socketed(removable) processor. Thanks!
