What are the chances the PM system not working?

i bought an item off a anandtech member recently, but i have not received the item in over a week since the payment. i asked him if he was receiving my PMs, however, i said he didn't receive them. however, in my private message box, i see the messages i sent to him.

did you tell him you have the messages in your sent box?

i think the only way he wouldn't have seen them is if his inbox was full, but then you would have gotten notice that it was.

i'd also say it's probably better not to deal with this guy in the future. what is his username?

If your inbox goes above 1000 you can still receive but not send.
