what are the chances that my retail athlonxp 2400+ is unlocked?

dont know but go to www.ocworkbench.com - they have some unlocking software.

you still have to paint bridges on it too before the software, i am no good at that!!!

I thought only the Bartons were being locked. IIRC the 2400+ is a T-bred, and those remain unlocked.

ok, so i should be able to boot to 166x12 and it should boot? will i need to change voltage from default?
