I am trying to identify which cell phones are the current best cellers for personal and corporate use. Anyone know of a source of this information?

Thanks

Sorry, I thought you meant popular. A lot of people use the BB Pearl for both reasons.

edit it depends on what you want really. Blackberry Sever or Microsoft Exchange? VPN etc etc
and what you want for a personal phone.

If you have enough experience, you can get a Windows Mobile Phone and customize/modify it to your liking. As you have an entire access of Apps. The Kaiser is looking good too.

Personal - Razer V2
Corporate - Some sort of a smart phone running WM6, or a Blackberry

This is worth a look (skip the opening screen). When it comes to the big picture, it says that Samsung has now gone by Motorola as the world leader - that is measured in worldwide market share.

Market Share

See - it depends on how you ask the question. :)

Nokia E61i
Nokia E61

<----- I own a Nokia E61 and I have never ever owned such a good smart phone, the Nokia E61i is a bit nicer, but the only difference is that it has a camera and has US support (including the appropriate 3g frequencies) and looks a little bit sexier. I am keeping my E61 until Nokia comes up with a better successor.

Model numbers are OK - but right now, it looks like Nokia is the world cell phone market leader with over 36%. Yeah - go with a winner.

Combined, I bet it's either a iPhone or the Treo. Girls seem to think the Treo is cute and buy it for that reason.

Seperately, it'd probably be the RAZR for personal use (very popular, despite being very crappy), and the various Blackberries for corporate use.

It would be very hard to say here. We use 2 diffrent technologies (GSM and CDMA, plus a 3rd, IDEN, but thats on the way out) and diffrent carriers have diffrent models made specificaly for them. But if I had to choose just one, I'd say the single biggest selling phone in the US right now is any of the Motorola RAZR versions being offered
