Question What are the best remote desktop softwares?

Hey guys, I am seeking the best option to control my desktop pc wireless with a device like a tablet. I need a software which will be instant, no lag time, any recommendations please?

To be more precise I will have my music playing on my PC and will be relaxing some distance away and whenever I wish to change playlists or search for and play a tune I simply want to have some device like a tablet which I can grab and control the music software playing on the PC. So i need to mirror the pc.

Thanks but sorry I should have stated I wish to control my preferred music software so WMP won't work

Try TeamViewer. I use it for PC to PC remote control. It's supported on Android, but I don't have real experience.

I would say it will be hard since PC does not have touch screen capability and it's control buttons are small on a tablet screen.

Better find a media player/server for your situation, but I don't listen to music. Other people here probably have better ideas.

I had tried teamviewer in the past, didn't work well but maybe it's faster now with less connectivity issues, I will give it a try again.

Regarding getting a small device, the small device in this pic looks good:

as it shows the entire screen of the laptop, if anyone should have an idea of which device that is, I can look into it.

That's just an Android tablet/smartphone. You just want a tablet/smartphone that has better resolution than your desktop monitor.

If you really want to remote control a PC from a tablet, you better equips your tablet with a bluetooth mouse.

Remote control a PC with tablet's touchscreen is painful.

You could look into a NAS with Android / iOS integration, and supports Media Streaming / DLNA. I've not actually done it, but I believe QNAP has some sort of solution along the lines of what you're looking for.
