Historic is fine. I'm tired of wading through the crap to find listenable stuff. I'm getting to be an old codger and I want to be spoon fed. :p

Artists:

Oakenfold
Sasha
Digweed
Danny Tenaglia
Claude Challe & Ravin
etc..

My favorites:

Danny Howell's eclectic mix, radio one, 2002.
Sasha involver. Him & digweed east coast/west coast, etc.
Most global undergrounds
Ibiza Lounge 2
Deep dish moscow

What's the cream in your coffee? :)

Whoops.

It's ok I don't pick my nose and eat it. We each have our habits.

There is no such thing. I guess one has to be best if there are only 2 in the world, 1 of them must be considered best, however...I choose to consider all dance/lounge album as "worst."

Sasha and John Digweed: Northern Exposure I, II and III

John Digweed: Bedrock

Sasha and Digweed: Communicate

John Digweed Global Underground Hong Kong

Sasha Global Underground San Francisco

The Tranceport series, especially Tranceport I (Paul Oakenfold) and Tranceport III (Sandra Collins, IIRC)

The Gates To Goa Trance series

It's been a while since I was really into trance/house/etc., but those are some of the albums I used to listen to regularly.

That's an informed opinion. Dare I ask how you accomplished the amazing feat of listening to every dance/lounge album ever published? :p

I listen to SOMA FM for lounge type music.

I second the motion. There's quite a few good Shoutcast stations on SomaFM you can listen to with Winamp.

Yeah, I concur with the others, SOMA FM is the business.... It will give you lots to listen to and you can make up your own mind about what you might like to collect.
I am currently in Borneo, East Malaysia stuck in a really small place and listening to SOMA really takes the edge off emptiness. They have loadsa channels to listen to. All pretty cool for a radio station.

eheh, I just realised probably no one reads this thread cos its ancient......... (doh!) that's embarrassing
