What are the best asian movies ever?

the first korean movie I saw was my sassy girl and it is still one of my favorite asian movies. So different from the american movies i grew up watching

IMO, the only good "Asian" movies are war movies where the White Americans are victorious against the yellow menace. :biggrin:

Kill them all. Let God sort them out.

My personal picks would be:

China: The House of Flying Daggers
Korea: Oldboy or Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (same director)
Japan: Twilight Samurai or maybe Aragami (aka Aragami Duel)
 
Old Boy. It has two sequels or some shit, don't know if those are good. But the original is great. Hot nudity too.
 
Ong-Bak (thai, but way way awesome)

I saw a Japanese movie a couple years ago called "Twilight Samurai." It's a drama, not an action flick, but was very good.
