What are some things to do outside...

So now that summer and good weather are here, the g/f and I need some things to do outside. We've already played out the park thing, so we're looking for something new. There's going to be a carnival in town this weekend, so we've got that planned, but that's just one weekend. Anyone got any other suggestions?

The gf and I are bringing out our camping gear. Infact, this weekend, we're heading to PA for some whitewater rafting and camping.

a few suggestions off the top of my head

join an outdoor/beach volleyball league
take up hiking, or jogging
buy a tent and go camping
go biking
buy a canoe

Go camping. There are a ton of great spots in the NJ Pine Barrens if you don't mind the extra drive. Most campsites have water and electric hookups in case you're not too hardcore into camping.

Electric hookups are no fun. When I go camping, I like the survival appeal.

However, I do require a flush toilet and warm shower close by.

my GF is coming over from the states, and we have many walking/hiking/biking paths here.

We both got skates (oldschool quads and backpacks and whatnot...and we will go in town and the surrounding areas and skate

() rent/get bikes

() rent/get boats

() go on trips etc..etc...

You're talking to a long-time boy scout here. I've been camping at times and places you wouldn't go near.

just stay inside, its too hot to do anything outside. lol

i went out and did some target shooting last night. not a very strenuous activity but i was sweating so bad by the time i was done.

So the plans for tonight are biking at a local park, then the carnival for this weekend. As for other things, we've gone camping several times this year so far, and neither one of us are big into playing sports...

what about putt putt golf? volunteering at local zoos, parks, etc planting flowers, park clean up. If there are any lakes around you, paddle boats, tennis, join a local nature center and go for hikes, edcuational nature walks. Garden together, grill/BBQ, swim.
Summer is wonderful. enjoy it!

Here's a fun game you can play. Take a bunch of tylenol pm's and see if you can flank the dolphin before you fall asleep.

You always win! Thats the best part.
