What are some things to do at a bon fire?

My summer is almost over because of summer school and I havent been to the beach. I want to plan a bonfire but I dont know what to do since I never been to one. What are some good stuff to bring to a bon fire? Please help me with some ideas. : D

Alcohol and contraceptives were pretty popular bonfire accessories back when I was in high school. :p

I liked bringing a few milk cartons (1 gal) filled with gas to throw on the fire...its fun :)

Unused cans of beans and soup can be thrown on the fire, just don't stand too close! :) You would be surprised at the kinetic energy produced by a 400 mL BLEVE!

I love two things at a bonfire, beer and smores...
After you've drank your ass off break out the marshmellows, chocolate and graham crackers and make yourself some of the best tasting smores you'll ever have....
