Whenever my friends have kids I give them "new" names that I always call them by. So far I call them:
Cobra
Lady Jane
Short Straw
Hatchet
 
name him after your favorite piece of software:

"Longhorn"
"Firefox"

Or you could get fancy and change the spelling all around and add hyphens

"Bit-torentia"

what a pretty name for a little girl
