what are some phrases you can't stand?

"The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" makes me homocidal. Unfortunately we have 1,923 user workstations with Logitech Quickcams...

The police have found 24 bodies around the building in the past two weeks. We're not on lockdown but they search everyone on the way in/out of the campus.

I'm glad rubber utility gloves are so cheap.

Bunny. Pancake. 3.14 is not pie. Robafluubba ramalamdingadong wot?

"At this point in time" - I had a math teacher who overused this terribly
"Literally..."
"Don't loose it!" - wtf it's spelled and pronounced differently from the word "lose" and it has an entirely different meaning too! Learn the English language!
"Last but not least"
"Without further ado"

I told him not to draw that crap on the door in her blood but he woudln't listen. He hadda fucking be cool or some shit. Loser.

Hey man...if I give you the address, will u write a letter for me?

It bothers me when people answer questions before they are asked. Example: "Yes, that's me in the picture." or "No, I am not a retarded d-bag"

"Correct" and "right" when I'm explaining something to someone.

Them: "Question"
Me: "First part of answer..."
Them: "Correct"
Me: "Second part of answer..."
Them: "Right"

....you're asking me the question, I'm not confirming something with you. -___-

People actually say that in real life? I've only ever seen it on pictures on the internet. Then again, I am careful not to mix Internet-speak with real-life conversations because it's strange and uncomfortable.

Having one's cake and eating it

I've never understood that, even though my parents tried to use it on me many times.

If I first have the cake in hand, then I eat the cake, I still *have* the cake - I just have it in my belly and not in my hands 🙂

Oh and the rapid-fire assault of "like?" every other word whenever a teenage girl is speaking.

No I don't know, or I wouldn't be listening to you.

But what if you do know? Sometimes, you will just, like, know, you know?

When you have the cake, you can be all like GUYZ CHEK OUT MAH CAEK!! And they'll all be like WHOOAA!!

But when you eat it, you can't show it off anymore.
