ClearChannel has more of an effect on what songs you hear then what you might think. ClearChannel owned stations are only allowed to play certain songs (often not from local/smaller bands), in fact, theres even a banned song list that radio stations are not allowed to play. It might be on f'ed company.com if they have an archive.

And that song on the spiderman soundtrack is only nickleback related because the lead singer sang it. The song is actually Chad Kroeger (of nickelback), Josey Scott (of Salavia I believe) and one more singer who's name escapes me.

Okay, here we go. I've been following Nickelback for years. The first really good song they had was called Fly. That's the one that got them started here in Vancouver. Here's a short list of other songs:

There are a ton of others, and Good Times Gone is a really good slower song.
