I wanna take my gf out to some place nice but I can't really think of anywhere to go. I've been to Orange Hill, Salt Creek Grille, Orange Mining Co, & Roy's. Anyone have any other good recommendations? Thanks!

There are 3 Orange Counties in the US - I assume you mean the one in Socal! :)

My favorites:

1. Gulliver's on Macarthur Blvd., across the street from John Wayne Airport. $$$$
(Great prime rib, steaks.... EXCELLENT service)

2. Ferdussi's Persian Cuisine on Macarthur Blvd. and Bristol St. in Santa Ana. $$$
(Excellent lamb, chicken and beef dishes. The best persian food I have had.)

3. Trabuco Oaks Steakhouse in Trabuco Canyon. EXCELLENT $$$$$
(IMHO the **BEST** steakhouse in OC. Reservations & neckties are required. :D )

4. Daily Grill on Jamboree Ave., in Irvine. $$$
(Great lunches. Reservations required during lunch on weekdays.)

You looking for great tasting food whether inexpensive or not, or just to impress b/c of expense or appearances?

Onami at Laguna Hills Mall has excellent sushi. Crazy Horse at the Irvine Spectrum has really good steak. Joe's Crab Shack and Rusty Pelicans at Dana Point deserve honorable mentions for fresh seafood. Sam Woo in Irvine (the one on Culver) is generally agreed upon to have the most authentic chinese food.

I'd give more suggestions if you can be more specific in categorizing what type of food you like.
