now that im parting out my pc, i started playing super mario sunshine awhile... I have that, tony hawk underground, and a mario golf game.

What are other 'musthave' awesomely fun games?

dunno i dont have it but if i had one i would get that 3d metroid and ppl say their resident evil is pretty good.

Resident Evil 4. Even though I'm stuck at the second to last boss!

/edit Super Smash Brothers Melee is a must!

Definitely get resident evil 4. Metroid Prime is pretty good, I didn't like the sequel as much though. It kind of depends what you like, you may or may not like Windwaker, or Paper Mario...

If there were any must-have gamecube games, I would have gotten a gamecube. I won't even touch a sample in a store.

So which are you? PS or Xbox fanboy?

I'd say...
RE4
Zelda:WW
Super Smash Bros Melee
Metroid Prime

Mario Sunshine was a huge let down for me. Paled in comparison to M64.

Kinda an incomplete list but...:

Current:
Smash Bros Melee
F-Zero GX
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Resident Evil 1 remake
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil 4
Eternal Darkness
Zelda: Windwaker
Viewtiful Joe 1/2
-more depending on what you like and what I forgot

A few upcoming:
Zelda Twilight Princess

Neither, I'm not a fanboy. I haven't liked anything Nintendo since the NES.

You're the same type of person who won't try a new food just because they think they won't like it, aren't you?

I've become addicted to Mario Strikers. SSBM is great to. does anyone care to elaborate on why super mario sunshine is a letdown? I was excitred to go buy it ($14.99 used at ebgames)

Well there's plenty of reviews on sunshine but it was only an "ok" game. Kinda short, gameplay wasn't too incredible/fresh, graphics couldn've been better, etc.

I never said I didn't give it a chance. But with such poor design decisions for both the console and controllers, it makes it very difficult to want to touch their stuff. I mean it looks like it was made by playskool and the games seem to have the same demographic most of the time.

Let me tell you the only games you should get

1. The first metroid prime
2. Resident evil 4 (best game ever)
3. super smash bros

From what I've played.

Super Mario Sunshine
Luigi's Mansion
Zelda: Windwaker
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Resident Evil 1

I've had a gc for a year now, bought it to play zelda: ww and melee. Now I'm slowly buying used games I wanted:
Mario Kart: DD
Mario Sunshine
Metroid Prime 1 (although I think I'm done with it, not engaging enough)
Donkey Konga
Mario Strikers
Mario Baseball
Monkey Balls
