also, i can't really just come out and say this on this board because it's a family board and all, but let's just say you can't fully understand the pumpkins unless you are, as hendrix would say, "experienced." i mean you may think they sound great now, but you're just hearing the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. by "adore" they had ceased to be psychedelic, though, and i think that change was accompanied by a decrease in the general quality of the songwriting, in exchange for pretentiousness.
