What are some good second jobs?

Assume I'll be working a 730-4 day job.

I want to earn some money in my free time, maybe 15-20 hours a week, either nights or weekends.

I don't doubt that I could easily go apply to a bunch of food places and be a waiter (tips the shit if you've got the spit) but I want to see if I can get something substantial before I consider that.

Depending on the Restaurant, your tips could be substantial. Do you have any experience bartending? That can also pull in some good quick cash. I always made decent money delivering pizzas, but that was 6+ years ago so gas prices are higher.

I can't be a bouncer because I'm not big enough or strong enough. Plus, I'd probably end up letting every person in just to see how sweaty/stinky the place could get.

Web development is out. So is bartending. So is jizz-mopper 'cause I don't know where ATOT resides.

I could be a superhero though.
 
retail store. easy work, dont need to be too knowledgeable and probably can work with your schedule. the down side is having to deal with the people that are working retail as their main job as well as having to deal with idiot customers.
 
Retail is your best bet. I'm trying to find one myself for the weekends. I work 8-4 M-F and retailers always need more help on the weekends.
 
Got any tech skills? IF yes, web developing, engineering consulting, etc.

If not: garbage man, pick cans, pick others people trash if you have a pick-up, retail, etc.
 
Weekend security guard. Security guard companies are always looking for part time weekend guards and it pays pretty well too.
 
Put up a website, get an adsense account, watch the money flow.

It's not a lot, but iceteks.com brings me about 40 bucks a month. I hardly do anything with the site now because I hardly have time. At one point it was about 100 bucks a month.
 
I can vouch for pizza delivery. :thumbsup:

They can be pretty flexible on schedules, and you're basically rollin' around in your car most of the night listening to music. I did it for 3 months last summer and could average about $15/hr on a moderately busy night.

Working in receiving could be best at a retailer. They are usually a fixed schedule if you work night receiving.
