Rock and roll kind of sucks, but heavy metal is awesome. Metallica, Megadeth, Guns 'n Roses, and Iron Maiden all pwn.

It's social misfit music.

i listen to everything. 90% of my music being Rap and R&B. the other 10 contributes to rock and alternative rock.

Nah, rock and roll is "I don't mind listening to horrible vocalists and repetitive guitars." music. Emo is social misfit music.

The only people I see listening to the likes of "Rammstein" and the artists you mentioned were people who were outcasts in school and still are to this day. Tattooed people with baggy black clothing with no future.

Shens, Rammstein is great. If Michael Savage thinks it's good, then it's good.

That would be generalizing it. I love Rammstein and Metallica and I'm a software engineer by trade. Lots of my friends listen to the same stuff as well and all do well in their profession and their personal life.

Now that you mention it, in the several threads I've seen him in lately he's done nothing but troll. Even the thread he started.

That said, I like early Van Halen (from the self-titled album, for example). Also like GNR.
