What are some good online stores to buy CD's from?

What are some reputable, cheap online cd stores? The stuff I am looking for is somewhat difficult to find also, so preferably ones with a large selection. Thanks.

most of the online stores to back to Amazon anyway...

I buy from Half.com most of the time. They usually have what i want, and it is generally cheaper (even with shipping) than most large retailers.

 

DeepDiscountCD is good too, but Amazon ranks way up there.

i never knew such a site existed. I use the DVD site though.

Deepdiscountcd (after a quick spot check) has none of the cds i searched for. Limited selection of lesser known stuff IMO.

Yeah, they do seem pretty limited. Their prices seem decent though. Each cd that I clicked on says usually ships in 3 - 5 days. Do they usually ship in 3 - 5 days, or do they do like amazon and never ship forcing me to cancel my order after a month has gone by?

i find a lot of good links to places off pitchforkmedia.com

a lot of bands i listen to end up on there...usually i can find online ordering for their cds.
also: i had a great store not too long ago that ill try and look for again, i got some pretty rare stuff (probably along the same lines of what you were looking for)

sort of off-topic, know any good Raincoats albums? i want to grab one but im not sure where i should start.

well i've ordered 4 dvd's in the last month from the dvd site, two of them have been backordered. So it seems if you buy anything that is not very popular at the moment, you may be waiting.

I looked and it's the same exact thing as amazon. One cd i looked at said they had 1 left in stock on amazon, went to cdnow and guess what? 1 left in stock.
