most of the older Jet Li movies, they are GREAT. (once upon a time in china)

and older jackie chan movies too, as Jehovah has mentioned a whole bunch.

but I don't think Matrix is a good martial art movie compare to the others.

meanwhile, the new Kung Fu Hustle is actually quite good, not so much of a comedy imo, but the kungfu is beautifully coregraphed.

Who are you talking to? The OP? Because I(Jehovah) am the OP.

Drunken Master (first one) is great. It's where Jackie Chan's affinity for comedic Kung-Fu first materialized.

While not strictly Kung Fu, Kill Or Be Killed and Kill And Kill Again had some good Shotokan fight sequences.

How about USA Network's old Kung Fu Theater?

Excellent. I always want to pick up the martial arts DVD's because they are so cheap. But alot of them are crap. I bought a 2 box set of Enter the Dragon and Chinese Connection on VHS a while ago. The quality of the movies was so awful that it was almost unwatchable. It wouldn't surprise me if the DVD's were transferred straight from VHS.

IF you get the original subtitled and not the recent US release version.
Comet, Butterfly, & Sword is good as well. Can't lose with Donnie Yen, Gordon Liu (sp?) and Jet Li (older) stuff!
