Dungeon Defenders definitely.
Whats the reasoning for no MMO's? If its the cost, maybe take a look at LOTRO?
Titan Quest sure. How about Mechwarrior 4 with the Coop mod?
One that a bud and I loved to do was Rise of Nations where we'd both playt he same nation, one person would build the economy and one person would build the military.
Some side scrollers (Roms mainly, not sure if we can talk about those in AT or not?) like Streets of Rage Remake and Dungeons and Dragons Shadows of Mystara would be fun.
How about a flight sim like Freespace 2? The open source project for FS2 makes that game look ridiculously good....
EDIT: Heroes of Might and Magic 5? Turn based, but with the expansions you get the ability to both go at the same time, which speeds it up drastically... in that same train of thought: Civ 5
