Ready for a wordy answer? Some boyfriend qualities (ideally) that I'd look for...

~A friend ? someone I can trust and who trusts me.
~A conversation partner ? (1) who listens to me and makes comments, nonjudgmentally but calls me on things when need be, who is interested in what I have to say. (2) who talks about their life, thoughts, and themselves in general and welcomes occasional input.
~A little romantic
~Someone who draws me closer to God and who I can help bring nearer to God, who I can pray with and have accountability with.
~Someone I enjoy being with and who enjoys being with me; someone I?m comfortable with in all situations, no matter who?s around, someone safe to be myself around.
~Respect and appreciation ? respect for me as a person, for my thoughts, ideas, and accomplishments; appreciation occasionally for some things (not necessarily everyday things but out of the ordinary things). I don?t want to be taken for granted.
~Someone who makes some effort to include me, be it with friends or family. Someone who takes advantages of some of the offered opportunities to include himself with my family and friends.


And everything I ask for, I consider part of my position as a girlfriend to do the same.

And yet all the sociology/psychology studies show men's ideal woman is someone who reminds them of their mother. This only applies to marraige, I suppose, not just flings and affairs.

With the way things have been going lately, I am down to just a couple simple qualities I'm looking for in a girlfriend: she must be breathing and be between the ages of 15 and 50. j/k (about the qualities part, not about my dating dry spell)

Somehow I'm very attracted to a woman with a classic feminine voice. No "the nanny" voice for me.

I like import chicks...they're not as big as the domestics, though tend to be a bit more expensive initially, but they last long and don't require a lot of repairs as long as you change the oil routinely. They also tend to handle better in rough conditions. Some would argue that they all look to similar...but I say hey, if one looks good then that just means you got a whole buncha hot chicks.

Of course, domestic chicks are good too. They tend to get off the line a lot faster and can be a lot of fun, mainly on weekends. Unfortunately, it is hard to find a new one -- and all the used ones usually break down soon after purchase...so they are ideal "hooptie" chicks that you can ride around in when you don't want to have to worry about something happening to your main chick.

I have a late 70s model import chick right now, and she's still going strong. I got her new and have put a few miles on her already. I was thinking about modifying her with a body kit, maybe some HID headlights...nothing drastic. If anyone has a mid-70s to early 80s chick they are trying to get rid of, PM me for an offer.

Yes, and sometimes, if they don't like their mothers, they look for the opposite qualities in a woman. I am my husband's revenge on his mom, lol...

has to be strong minded-no wussies need apply you'll be chewed up and spit out in under 1/2 hour

must look like a dude- no smooth boys need apply and if I catch you shaving your legs you're history

must be able to think-I have enough fools as clients don't need one for a b/friend

must like computers and must support my professional ambitions as well as having ambitions
of his own


most importantly, must really like me and think I'm just great 🙂
