1. Really HOT (Always a plus) 😀
2. Not a clown (ie, doesn't use an exorbitant amount of makeup)

Sense of humor.
Outgoing/good conversationalist.

Good looks are ALWAYS a plus; obesity is ALWAYS a (big) minus.
 
Umm, not too girly. Some girlyness is good, but don't cry if you break a nail. And don't say "ewwwwwwwwwwww" at everything! 🙂
Not spending 2+ hours getting ready in the bathroom is a plus 😛
Intelligent
Has some cool interests
Funny/sense of humor
etc. etc.

Honesty and trustworthiness are biggies for me. Looks, sense of humour are also important. I'd also like a girl that has something special about her that really sets her apart from the others.

I don't mean sixth-toe special, but something on the inside 🙂.

Edit: Add openness - I'm relatively sensitive to other people's feelings, but I'm no mind-reader.

Knows what she wants out of life, and has plan to achieve it
Someone who doesn't 'need' me, but 'wants' to be with me
Not tech-illiterate
Someone I could talk to easily
 
Girlfriend qualities? Well, it depends on what kind of a relationship you want with your girlfriend. Some people like a very tight and close relationship where the slightest thing means a lot, whereas some people prefer a much more laid back and casual background. Right now I just like girls that are nice, considerate, interesting and thoughtful. Of course all this comes after trust/honesty.
