Im going there in a few hours and will be there just two days, anything kinda interesting or cool that i should check out? Hows the nightlife?

Funny, that's where I'm thinking about moving to. I'd be interested to hear anything from denizens of the city.

1) Well, it's Canada. Might want to look at real estate and consider a move

2) mountain biking. One of the best places in the world to go.

Hmm, we are just driving around site seeing for a couple of days, any special interest places?

excellent chinese food.

I've heard from some firsthand accounts that its better than Hong Kong.

This is assuming you like the authentic stuff.

Restaurants:
Stepho's on Davie Street (Greek)
Nick's on Commercial Drive (Italian)
Las Margaritas on Broadway (Mexican)
Chong Qing on Commercial & 12TH (Szechuan)

Things to do:
Stanley Park
Whistler - about a 2 hour drive from Vancouver
Robson St - Lots of shopping
Commercial Av-Tons of good food, lots of culture

Bars/Nightlife:
Just walk up and around Granville St. Tons of bars/clubs. The Roxy is a good one.

Nudie bars:
The Cecil on Granville St. or Brandi's

ditto on the Chinese food; especially the seafood. If you have time for the two hour drive, you might want to check out Whistler/Blackcomb-- it's a fantastic ski resort with year-round activities.

Two days. That's tough. If you have more time, I recommend taking the ferry across they bay to Victoria. It's so much different than Vancouver. Try those "pontoon" planes tour. It is so worth it. It's about $1200 for the tour, but the plane can take up to 4 or more. Split that 4 ways and it's very reasonable.

Bring an umbrella, warm clothing, and rain coat for this time of the year.

Outdoor things are out of the question because it is wet, cold, and rainy.

There are many theaters & bars, Grandville Island is a nice place to spend sometime at, Yuk Yuk?s is also pretty good.

It can be a lot less than that. City air tour can be as little as $150-$175 CAD per person. Flight from Vancouver to/from Victoria from $75-$100 each way.

Tour Vancouver by air and get a whole new perspective. Air tours allow visitors to see so much more, from endless stretches of untamed wilderness to dramatic mountain vistas. See Vancouver the way so few have seen it before.

<-- brother inlaw is an air tour pilot.

It's actually nice and sunny here today. Not all that warm though. (46F/8C)

If you have a car

The drive along Marine Drive in West Van is nice

Check out the look outs on Cypress or Seymour mountains.

I went to vancouver for the weekend and the only time we went was the morning of our last day. I still regret not going more to this day.

From the son of a real-estate mogul in Vancouver. You REALLY don't wanna touch vancouver real estate, the prices are extremely inflated right now.
