What are some fun group activities to do?

I was wondering what are some fun group activities to do? I usually hang out in diverse groups...ranging from 25 member birthday parties to a small study group of 8. I'm not the creative type so I would like to play some games/or plan some activities to get the group to have some fun...or stuff for breaking the ice or just getting ppl to know each other.

EDIT:This crowd ranges from teens to mid 20's to early 30's. I would prefer something we can do at a home

Any games are fine as long as they're not sexual in nature 😱 or made for kids (unless adults also like playing it) If it's not an obvious game, please be as descriptive as possilble (eg rules, how many ppl can play it, etc) so I can teach it to the group. Any help would be appreciated.

okay, maybe its just me but i always had fun on group bowling outings. 🙂

how about going on hikes also?.. they are fun

Definitely one... ice skating is fun too, all those helpless girls and my ability to skate = 😀
Eating is another favorite... everyone eats!
 
Really fun game, it goes well with drinking too 🙂 Since you can make up the rules as you go.

Divide the group into teams of 2 people, get an egg timer or something that lasts about a minute.

Everyone writes down 3 names of famous people on seperate slips of paper, sticks them in a bowl.

Each team takes a turn, 1 person gives hints to the other to guess the name they pulled out of the bowl, they get as many as they can in 1 minute ( the egg timer or whatever)

The teams just go one after the other till the bowl of names is empty, the team with the most points wins 🙂

You can just keep going and playing different rounds, tons of fun.

It sounds kind of gay, but it is really fun, hearing some people describe whats on the paper, and some dumbasses, cant even pick up the best hints.

Damn.. and I was going to suggest a nice long orgy.. 😛

If you're looking for an at-home living room type game, you could try any of the Trivial Pursuit series, or perhaps Jenga..
 
how about a big smokeout?

OR, play the game TABOO with alcohol. Divide the group into 2 teams. Losing team has to take shots. Trust me, it's soooooooooooo much fun!
