What are some exotic animals in the US?

Well, I don't know about you, but whenever I read about other nations/continents this always catches my attention: weird/exotic animals.

Think about it:
- Australia has Kangaroos
- Africa has Rhinos, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, etc
- Asia has a bunch of weird animals, and weirder still; people that eat them (I'm one of them)
- Europe has, well, the French

What would be some "exotic" animals in th US that foreigners think is exotic? All I can think of is Opposums, and maybe rednecks . . ..

Your thoughts?

depends on your definition of exotic...anywho

rattelsnakes
aligators (not crocs) are found only in N america if i'm not mistaken

Grizzly bear is a pretty exotic animal.
You know Camels are native to the Americas. They were the ones going the other way on the ice/land bridge.

I believe horses went with them. On that thought, wild mustangs are cool.

I can't believe nobody has said raccoons, which are a well known animal. Also, opossums are native to the Americas (N and S)

A lot of stuff is...

There were some Japanese tourists at the Milwaukee County Zoo and they were incredibly excited that we had wild chipmunks in the zoo 😛
