What are some easy meals to make with rice?

My favorite is steamed rice with over-easy eggs that are drenched in soy sauce. If you haven't tried it, you just won't understand. Mmmmmm.....

😀

I usually make a big ole thing of rice and throw in a can of corn and peas and call it good. 😛

same here, except sunny side up 😀 and a little tobasco with the soy sauce.

Rice, lean ground beef, a little spices and... SHAZAM!! a complete meal! I also add some fresh peas. The kids like it too.

Hamberger steak: fry up some burgers, pour some cream of mushroom soup on them and let it simmer for 15 minutes, serve on rice.

I prefer Pilaf to plain rice: brown some thin egg noodles in butter, add chicken broth(1 small can to cup of rice), boil the rice in this till almost dry and set aside to complete absorbing broth.

fried rice?

cut up some ham, whip up some eggs, some peas, maybe some frozen carrot bits... fry the egg, break it into smaller pieces, add everything into the wok and mix like there's no tomorrow

I make rice and throw on a hot dog or two if I am really lazy, other wise make some steak to go with it, at home at least. Dorm makes it a little harder to do that.

And you're Korean. Well actually I don't think you are, but I'm just going to say you are since you like spam. 😛

Hehehe.... only about 1/3rd though... 😛

Some easy ones are an egg, poached or fried, with soy sauce...a bag of frozen mixed vegetables and pork with the rice...some traditional Chinese ones are steaming some lengths of Chinese sausage in the cooker, so that the oil will season the rice, and you have a side as well. Another is taking leftover chicken and pulling the meat, top with some soy sauce + light gravy.

I love my mom's cooking. 🙂

1) Rice with braised tofu (fried with sesame seed oil) with soy

2) Rice with beef and borcolli

3) Rice with egg (sunny side up) with soy

4) Rice with chinese sausage

5) Fried rice (egg, peas, carrots, chinese sausage, a little butter for flavor)

6) Rice with teriyaki chicken

Yum.

Anyway, like I was sayin', rice is the fruit of the land. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, rice-kabobs, rice creole, rice gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple rice, lemon ric, coconut rice, pepper rice, rice soup, rice stew, rice salad, rice and potatoes, rice burger, rice sandwich. That- that's about it.
