I'm paranoid as hell. Ringtail, you and Sureshot324 are over the top. I believe in people not pseudo scientific "proof" from folks who are neither architectural structural engineers or familiar with the blueprints of the WTC. Why do I believe in people? Because the sheer number of inspectors, some of whom lost friends and coworkers, would have shouted it to high heaven if anyone tried to hush or spin ANY findings of internal terrorism.

To believe Fire Chiefs would rubber stamp forensic reports that gave ANY hint of internal sabotage where their own men died is ludacris. FBI forensic specialists covering up ANY hint of internal sabotage when some of their own people died is plain crazy.

You might not trust the politicians involved, I don't but, I trust the sheer number of working stiffs who knew what to look for and, didn't find it, screaming to the media about what they found. This economy sucks but, I believe there are enough people like me who aren't so afraid of losing their jobs that they'd let something as big as a conspiracy involving thousands slide by IF there were any truth to it.

They made a documentary that aired on PBS (it's also on youtube) which basically a series of interviews with Architects, Engineers, Demolitions Experts, Firefighters, etc. many of which are highly educated and have decades of experience in their fields.

Points are valid but I'm pretty sure an episode of Myth Busters they proved pretty much with out a doubt the moon landing was real.

I have read the back forth between the two folks about 9/11. I tend to be kind of in the middle about it being 100% terrorists or 100% inside job. I think there is evidence and motivation for both sides to want something like that happen.

What I really wonder is how some non speaking middle eastern guys got the training to fly these huge things and pricisely hit the targets. I mean, look at all terrorists do now.. The best thing they can keep doing is blowing up cars or themselves, yet they managed to pull off one of the most complicated heists in our recent times? Not saying it isnt possible for them to have done it, but it seems like perhaps they could have gotten a bunch of help from outside their organizations.

Also, as sick as it sounds, our government had a lot to gain from something like this happening. A reason to hunt down Osama, a reason to get into Iraq/Iran/Afganistan and overall improved patriotism.

As far as the controlled demo goes...I'm not a structures expert. I think both sides have valid points as to the cause. I tend to lean toward natural causes for the collapse (the planes hitting) just because I would assume the shear amount of thermite and explosives needed to bring down two buildings would probably be staggering and would require a lot of time and people to put in place.

As far as general conspiracies and keeping folkds who know quite...What would you do if a guy in a black suit and sunglasses came to you and said if you talked, bad things would happen to your family? I know at my job, there's lots of top secret info that people know about. Unless you work directly in that program, you will never ever ever know what they work on.
