hhmmm, GF3 level and those Radeon 7000's are pretty much over-kill for a PCI based card. Basically a Geforce 2 MX level PCI card is pretty much the top you can get for performance. Anything higher won't utilize their full potential due to the comparatively SLOW PCI bandwith speed against the AGP bandwith. A TNT2 or TNT 2 M64 is a good mid-range PCI card, and if you really want a high-performance PCI card, go with Geforce 2 MX based.

Well since only the geometry data travel the bus, PCI doesn't hold performance back as much as the AGP promoters want to make us believe.

TNT2-M64 makes an awfully slow card, TNT2 is better but lacks engine features required by modern games. That 7500LE is _the_ way to go.

I think someone mention this earlier in another post, but there is an agp to pci adapter. What it does is you place your graphics card, (AGP) on the adapter, and it acts as a PCI slot based card. You can use any AGP card on it, including the latest Geforce 4 Ti 4600, etc. However, expect a substantial performance hit since PCI has less bandwidth than AGP.

AGP to PCI adapter? that sounds liek it would raise the card so it wouldnt fit in the case w/o modding?

You need a Low Profile AGP card, it must be a 2x capable AGP card so you have the 3.3V signalling required on PCI, and you must make your own face plate.

Anyone THAT desparate?

I'll say it again ... http://61.59.36.233/web/product_inside.asp?prd_id=RV2P

Voodoo5, yes brilliant. Obsolete hardware from a bankrupt company, no dual screen, no DVI, no support ... time to move on.
