for some subconscious reason, i have an urge to buy this UV flashlight, but i already have a small single LED one on my keychain that i never use.

just trying to justify my purchase 🙂

I think they are used to shine on your screen to look for hot deals. It's not working when I shine mine on this post, though....no hot deal found.

used to show invisible ink (i just bought a invisible ink pen that has a UV light on the opposite side, it rocks!)
used in dentistry and other molding practices to hasten chemical reactions

Used to erase certain types of PROMs (programmable ROMs)
Sun tan lamps.

 
Provided they're sitting in front of you....... you can give your enemies a small sunburn on the back of their neck that they cannot determine the cause of.
