i'm on Vista using latest drivers, Ntune never worked for controlling fan speed. ATI tools doesn't have fan speed in vista for NVIdia 8800gts.

i have slot blower right underneath the vid card blowing lots of hot air out. (i put my hand behind and fell really hot air.)

I cannot feel any hot air , or any air at all coming from behind the nvidia slot blower at load.

idle is arround 55-60 and load temp can hit from 75-80 while scanning for artifacts.

50c idle, 65c load 630/2000 overclock

693 eh? proof?

No PCI cards? I can't believe with such a nice setup, you are running onboard software audio. :)

I liked that idea, but i have an x-fi and tv-tuner card.
I got a slot cooler, but the intake for it is too far away from the vents on the GTS.

So i ripped the fan off my AMD stock cooler, and angled it with some zip ties like this guy so it fits between all the cards. It lowered 7C at idle and about 10c at load while scanning for artifacts.

didn't take a pic, so i drew one.
