Um no, not quite. Dutch refers to The Netherlands, Holland is actually only a small area of The Netherlands. And they can get awfully testy if you say theyre from Holland when they're actually from another province.

I had great grandparents (RIP) that were from two different parts of The Netherlands (one from Northern Holland and the other from Limburg (sp?)) that addressed this issue with my grandparents and parents, whom also taught me.

Calm down, I know it's easy to be testy up there, what with the hockey situation, but keep in mind everyplace has its share of idiots. Ours are just organized enough to elect a leader whose idiocy is prolific and awe-inspiring despite their minority status... 🙁
