What are Paypal's deduction percentages?

but i think they give you some back if you are a card holder. I pay like 1.9% or something.

Remember you can have two Paypal accounts, that's what my wife does.

Personal - non-cc payments usually low payments under $100.
Premier/Business - cc payments used mostly for eBay and larger transactions.

I do that also.. but not sure if it's really OK, or just OK as long as it's not detected by PayPal..?

For low volume stuff, this has been a great deal. We only setup CC sales about twice a year. With normal CC stuff, about the bare minimum is $20 a month to maintain an account. Paypal is pay as you go and for a small volume, is definitely cheaper than a normal Visa/MC account. I think the fees were even cheaper than Sam's and Costco for us.

If you have a bigger volume, check out Costco and Sam's. Clark Howard has been saying that are a bargain for cc processing.
